Society
Today, Chile is in very advanced stages of the demographic transition. There are a lot of middle-aged adults who are working or studying right now. Though, over a few years the large working population will age and many will retire which makes Chile an aging-society. Despite the huge boom in the working age, there are very low fertility rates making a little difficult for a new population to rise. Over the last two decades Chile has been able to lower their poverty rates which has increased the life expectancy, but Chile's unequal rights have ranked worst and highest in the world. This inequality relates back to the large working population, and it's unequal income distribution.
